Lantang valley- Gosaikunda Pass 4609m
Langtang is situated close to the Tibetan border & remote valley enclosed by snow-capped mountains that culminates in the peak of Langtang Lirung (7246m). The religious of Tamang people closely resemble those of the people of Tibet inhabits the area. We make our trek through larch & rhododendron forests that are abundant with wild flowers & bird life. This all help to ensure your trek particularly attractive in the spring time.
We get enough time to explore the head of the valley getting close to the glacier system or climbing a nearby peak for stupendous mountain views. From there, we make a ascend past the holy lakes of Gosaikunda to enter Helambu via the Laurebina Pass (4610m). There we are rewarded with the stunning views of the Manaslu, Ganesh Himal & even as far as the Annapurna massif. A series of undulating ridges offers delightful walking before descending to the edge of Kathmandu.
Itinerary
Day 01: Your arrival to Tribhuwan International Airport (TIA), you will be met by our Airport Representative, and transfer to hotel. Overnight at hotel. B.B.
Day 02: Full day sightseeing tour of Kathmandu valley (Pashupatinath Temple, Boudhanath, Swayambhu, and Kathmandu durbar square). Overnight at hotel. B.B.
Day 03: Drive Kathmandu (1350m) to Syabru Besi (1462m) by Jeep / Mini bus, via Trisuli Bazaar - Dhunche. Overnight at Guesthouse.
Day 04: Trek to Lama Hotel (2581m). Overnight at Guesthouse.
Day 05: Trek to Langtang Village (3307m). Overnight at Guesthouse.
Day 06: Trek to Kyanjing Gompa (3800m). Overnight at Guesthouse.
Day 07: Tserko Ri (5033m) climbing or hiking around hidden valley. Overnight at Guesthouse.
Day 08: Trek back to Lama Hotel. Overnight at Guesthouse.
Day 09: Trek to Syabru village (2390m). Overnight at Guesthouse.
Day 10: Trek to Sing Gompa (3350m). Overnight at Guesthouse.
Day 11: Trek to Gosaikunda (4381m). Overnight at Guesthouse.
Day 12: Crossing Lauribinayak Pass (4609m) and trek to Ghopte (3430m). Overnight at Guesthouse.
Day 13: Trek to Tharepati (2500m). Overnight at Guesthouse.
Day 14: Trek to Kutumsang (1850m). Overnight at Guesthouse.
Day 15: Trek to Chisopani (2134m). Overnight at Guesthouse..
Day 16: Trek to Sundarijal (1300m), and drive back to Kathmandu. Overnight at hotel. B.B.
Day 17: Transfer to Airport for your onward Journey. Farewell!

Tsum means Separated and hidden. Actually this newly opened area for the foreign visitors and in fact it is as separated valley in between Tibetan Plateau and Trans Himalaya. This valley is located north of Mt. Ganesh Himal. It's main fact is non violent and very deep in Buddhist religion, countless Stupas and Mani walls along and through the valley. All people are Buddhist with Tibetan customs & Language.Even though it is newly opened for Tourist this Himalayan Ecological Trekking (P.) Ltd is already launched this area as home stay tours in this valley. 2-3 weeks duration is recommendable to complete this un-touched nature.

HET has just launched a new program in the remote area behind the Himalaya named Tsum Valley, which is a fragile land of heaven of Buddhist culture and deep beauty & silence of nature. No scarify of living beings, and countless stupas/Chorten , peace and happy people, landscapes and Charming Himalayas of Ganesh Himala are the major attraction of this valley. Probably this is only the valley where any one smells of untouched nature.
